Anticipated Adult Education – Full-time Practical Nursing and LPN-RN Instructor
Summary
Collaborate with staff to develop curriculum and learning activities that promote student learning.
Assist students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to safely and effectively participate in nursing practice.
Cultivate student learning in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
Emphasize and maintain the philosophy and framework of Vantage Career Center and the Nursing programs.
Experience
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Ohio or a compact license.
A baccalaureate degree in Nursing is required.
Minimum of 2 years of practice as a Registered Nurse.
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse staff and students.
Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g. a negative tuberculosis test, etc.)
A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions.
Commitment to keep current with occupational trends and skills deemed essential by employers.
