The primary objective is to prepare, evaluate, and mentor students to become highly competent, certified EMS providers. Provide both classroom and hands-on instruction for whole or partial classes for Emergency Medical Responder and/or Emergency Medical Technician.
• Holds a valid, in good standing, Ohio Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I or II Certification
• Holds a valid, in good standing, Ohio Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic Certification
• Able/willing to obtain a valid Ohio Department of Education License for the position
• A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
• Complies with drug-free workplace and board policies
• Has an in-depth knowledge of EMS skills and practices
• Has a strong commitment to EMS training and education
• Willingness to keep current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions
