Board Certified Behavior Analyst Position

Summary

The Western Buckeye Educational Service Center (WBESC) is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team serving districts across Paulding and Van Wert Counties. This is a flexible position that will allow for part time or full-time options to support classrooms, collaborate with local districts, and enhance regional capacity for effective behavioral and social-emotional supports.

 

Position Overview: The BCBA will provide comprehensive behavioral support to WBESC programs and school districts. This includes conducting assessments, guiding intervention planning, coaching staff, analyzing data, and helping build sustainable systems that promote positive student outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe classroom environments and individual students to identify behavioral strengths and needs.
  • Lead Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop individualized intervention plans grounded in best-practice.
  • Work side-by-side with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to model strategies and ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Track and interpret student progress data to refine supports and interventions.
  • Collaborate with district leaders, building administrators, and educator teams across Paulding and Van Wert Counties.
  • Conduct student-specific or classroom-wide observations and provide practical, actionable recommendations.
  • Support smooth transitions for students receiving services across district programs.
  • Assist districts in strengthening tiered behavioral systems and schoolwide interventions.
  • Professional Learning, Data & Systems Support.

Experience

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active BCBA certification or the ability to obtain.
  • Prior experience in K–12 or school-based settings preferred.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive environments.
