Career-Technical Education Supervisor (Trade/Industry, Ag programs)

Summary

Provides staff leadership to carry out competency-based instructional programs in the assigned career-technical area. Evaluate the ability of the program to meet the learning needs of the students. Help research, plan, and implement creative curricula. Responsible for supervision of assigned CTE programs, instructional support, CTSO development, and student discipline requiring supervisor activity. Work with district administrators to develop innovative plans to improve the career-technical program and related services.  Execute the policies of the Board of Education and the administrative directives of the superintendent.

Experience
  • Valid Principal licensure including Grades 9-12 issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
  • Career-Technical Education teaching experience and/ or Career-Technical Administrative experience preferred.
  • Significant and demonstrated experience as an instructional leader.
  • Willing to consider obtaining van certification.
  • OTES 2.0 Credentialed.
  • Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, medical exam, etc.)
  • A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
  • Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate career-technical programs
  • Ability to interpret and comply with regulatory compliance responsibilities.
  • Meets all prerequisite qualifications to be bonded.
