The full-time Chief Financial Officer provides strategic financial oversight and guidance to The Van Wert County Foundation. This role collaborates with the Finance Advisor, Controller, and the Accountant to manage budgeting, investment planning, and financial reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and monitor the foundation’s financial strategy, including investment and budgeting plans.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Trustees.
- Develop and oversee the foundation’s financial policies and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the Controller and the Accountant to manage the foundation’s financial operations.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Abide by the Vision, Mission, and Values of The Foundation.
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
- Maintain an attitude of continuous improvement by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
