About the Position

The Construction Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting with customers and conducting site visits to gather the information needed to develop accurate estimates and detailed scopes of work.

This position is about more than selling a project. You’ll take the time to understand each customer’s wants, needs, and vision for their home and help develop the right solution for their remodeling project.

You’ll work closely with our experienced construction and design teams to help guide customers through the process and provide a smooth, professional experience from start to finish.

Experience

What You’ll Do

  • Meet with customers to discuss their remodeling ideas, needs, and goals
  • Conduct site visits and gather measurements, photos, and project details
  • Develop accurate estimates and detailed scopes of work
  • Present estimates and project options to customers
  • Guide customers through material and product selections for their project
  • Guide customers through the sales and estimating process
  • Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication with customers
  • Work closely with our construction, design, and production teams
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer and project information
  • Use JobTread CRM to manage estimates, customer information, notes, photos, project details, and follow-ups

What We’re Looking For

  • Construction or remodeling knowledge
  • Construction sales experience preferred
  • Estimating experience preferred
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Comfortable learning and using JobTread CRM and other digital tools on a daily basis
  • Previous experience with CRM, estimating, or project management software is a plus
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Motivated, energetic, and results-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and opportunities at once
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and work as part of a team
