Group Facilitator

Summary

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and engaging Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic and educational group sessions designed to promote growth, recovery, and wellness. The Group Facilitator is responsible for leading structured group sessions focused on treatment goals, life skills, relapse prevention, and personal development. This position plays a key role in fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering group environment for participants.

Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field CDCA (required).
  • Experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health, substance use, or human services setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage group dynamics effectively.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
  • Reliable, organized, and compassionate approach to client care.
