Inside Sales Specialist

Summary

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for facilitating communication and collaboration between the sales, applications, and service teams to ensure smooth project transitions and effective internal communication. This role involves maintaining the concept catalog, owning repeat sales opportunities, and developing budgetary presentations. The Inside Sales Specialist will also coordinate and lead in-house presentations for internal and external stakeholders, serve as a key initial touchpoint with vendors, and ensure all opportunity information is properly prepared for the applications team to review. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service or customer-facing roles, experience with CRM systems, and a tenacious attitude towards follow-through.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Support the service sales team by assisting in the transition from sales to service, ensuring proper quoting and communication.
  • Schedule and conduct in-house presentations for customers and vendors.
  • Develop presentations for Automated Mobile Robot (AMR) opportunities.
  • Review incoming quote requests to ensure all necessary information is available for the applications team.
  • Collaborate with the applications team to append new solutions to the Alliance Concept Catalog.
  • Work with sales and applications teams to deepen customer relationships and gain familiarity with their operations.
  • Help applications collect material and labor quotes from vendors and internal procurement.
  • Communicate with management regarding any challenges between the sales, applications, and service teams.
Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 3 years of experience in the robotics, autonomous vehicle automation industry, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong background in customer service or customer-facing roles, with CRM experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple teams and external partners.
  • Ability to see projects through to completion and maintain high levels of follow-through in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in developing and delivering consistent presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities, ensuring smooth transitions between teams, and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support overall project success.
