POSITION OVERVIEW: A Lead Machine Builder provides the leadership role for assigned projects at the shop level. The Assembly Lead will collaborate with the Assembly Coordinator to establish and maintain team member goals for each project under his direction. It will be his/her responsibility to meet key dates (build, power-on, and shipment) and provide daily/weekly feedback on project completion and timing.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Safety is a top priority
- Plan labor in the following areas to meet the production schedules for the project assigned:
- Assembly Labor
- Installation Labor
- Scheduling and tracking time
- monitoring build hours per job
- Training employees on proper time reporting
- Daily employee time review to ensure proper time reporting
- Monitor build materials and part
- Ensure that shop organization and cleanliness are a high priority
- Support assembly area employee development
- Providing training and performance feedback to laborers working on their projects
- Providing feedback to Assembly Coordinator on employee performance
- Shop floor organization
- 5S program participant and support
- Quality control
- Maintain established quality audits during the assembly process
