Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure that the facility, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to facility upkeep, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in setting up or moving furniture, equipment, or fixtures as needed.
- Collaborate with management and other staff to support facility operations.
- Suggest improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and functionality of the facility.
