Northwest State Community College (Van Wert) is accepting applications for part-time instructors to teach in-person, workforce development courses in the following areas: Electrical & Automation and Mechanical & Fluid Power.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
These positions are responsible for instructing, supervising, and evaluating student progress in the classroom. Part-time instructors will also work closely with the full-time Training Coordinators in their leadership, development, assessment, and evaluation of curriculum.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Electrical & Automation- The qualified applicant must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically maintenance, controls, robotics, engineering, or engineering technology. At least 5 years of experience in designing and maintaining automation systems in a manufacturing or process environment is required.
Mechanical & Fluid Power- The qualified applicant must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience in the mechanical engineering, industrial engineering technology, or maintenance field. At least 5 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment is required.
