Van Wert Physical Therapy is a growing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic committed to providing exceptional, personalized care to our community. As our patient base continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a full-time basis.

Position Overview

This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working in an outpatient setting, building relationships with patients, and contributing to a positive clinic culture. The role will begin at  36 HOURS per week

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist.
• Document patient treatments accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients on exercises, recovery strategies, and injury prevention.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and patient-centered environment.
• Assist with clinic operations and teamwork initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Ohio.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the therapy team.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position
• 36 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling options may be available
• Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
• Significant opportunity for build-up to 40 hours
