We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Sales / Marketing Manager to lead business development and marketing efforts that drive sustainable growth. This role combines hands-on sales leadership with strategic marketing, brand development, lead generation, market analysis, and communications to create a consistent path from market visibility to qualified opportunity to project execution.

Position Summary

The Sales / Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies that generate new commercial and industrial business, strengthen the Alexander & Bebout brand, and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry partners. This position manages the sales pipeline and CRM, develops targeted marketing campaigns and collateral, represents the company in the marketplace, and works closely with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations to align opportunities with company goals and capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue and growth goals.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial and industrial construction opportunities.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with owners, developers, municipalities, architects, engineers, industry partners, and existing clients.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, project discovery discussions, and early-stage relationship development.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction to develop proposals, budgets, and conceptual project solutions.
• Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasting using CRM tools.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and consistent follow-through throughout the sales process.

Branding, Marketing & Lead Generation

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals and growth objectives.
• Establish and maintain consistent brand messaging across platforms and materials.
• Design and manage marketing collateral, including brochures, pitch decks, case studies, email campaigns, and social media content.
• Implement and maintain a content calendar to drive visibility and engagement with key audiences.
• Plan and execute targeted campaigns that generate high-quality, sales-qualified leads.
• Track lead and campaign performance, conversion rates, and ROI; refine strategies using feedback from Sales and Preconstruction.
• Maintain and manage CRM data to support pipeline visibility, lead follow-up, campaign measurement, and forecasting.

Market Presence, Analysis & Communications

• Conduct ongoing research to identify market trends, client needs, competitive positioning, and new growth opportunities.
• Provide actionable market insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor competitor activity and use data to refine company positioning and identify white-space opportunities.
• Lead internal and external communications that support a positive, professional company image.
• Build relationships with industry partners, media contacts, and local organizations to expand brand reach.
• Represent Alexander & Bebout at trade shows, networking events, trade organizations, and community functions.
• Coordinate company presence at events and manage internal messaging to reinforce alignment and company culture.
