
Position Summary
The Warehouse Assistant / Material Runner supports field and warehouse operations by organiz-ing inventory, delivering materials and equipment to job sites, assisting with warehouse manage-ment, and ensuring crews have the resources needed to maintain project schedules. This position requires a motivated individual who is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and committed to supporting team success.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner.
· Assist with receiving, organizing, stocking, and maintaining warehouse inventory.
· Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, trailers, or manual labor as needed.
· Perform routine warehouse housekeeping and maintain organized storage areas.
· Assist with tracking and staging materials for upcoming projects.
· Support field crews and project teams by ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed.
· Conduct basic inspections of tools and equipment and report maintenance needs.
· Assist the Warehouse Manager with inventory counts, deliveries, and special projects.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
· Positive attitude and professional communication skills.
· Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
· Reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in construction, warehouse operations, or material handling.
· Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
· Forklift operation experience.
· Experience pulling trailers and securing loads.
· CDL (preferred but not required).
