The Van Wert BMV is hiring for a part-time clerk position. This is NOT a state position and does not have benefits. The position is for 15-30 hours a week with three paid holidays. The pay rate starts at $14.00. You must be able to pass an FBI & BCI background check and have no major offenses or felonies. Working hours include opening at 7:45 in the mornings till close at 5:15-5:30 and Saturdays 7:45-12:15-12:30. We are closed on all holidays, Sundays, and evenings. Our business hours are Monday thru Friday 8-5 and Saturdays 8-12.
Must have a computer and customer service experience. The job includes waiting on customers, issuing plates, IDs, driver’s licenses, and doing out-of-state inspections at our location.
