The primary goal of this position to directly supervise the sanitation process, with most time spent on the production floor. To insure the proper and efficient utilization of chemicals and materials, while striving to achieve department goals and strategies of the Cooper Farms Business Plan.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday nights 10:30pm-6:30am
STARTING RATE: Commensurate with experience
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job Functions:
- Train and supervise the sanitation department team members
- Enforce all Company policies including quality and safety
- Initiate appropriate steps to prevent workplace injuries and accidents by conducting Stop audits weekly
- Achieve departmental goals related to efficiencies, quality, and safety
- Perform chemical inventories weekly, and ordering of chemicals
- Recommend measures to improve the cleaning methods
- Maintain an active role in product safety, legality and quality systems
- Perform team member evaluations
