Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Department of Education license/certificate at time of appointment
- Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators
- Meets all mandated health screening requirements
- Maintains a record free of disqualifying criminal violations

Essential Functions
1. Instruction & Student Learning
- Teach assigned classes/subjects as scheduled
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and district goals
- Communicate expectations to students and parents
- Maintain strong subject knowledge and instructional strategies
- Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom environments
- Use varied assessments to evaluate student learning and needs
- Adapt instruction to support diverse learning styles
- Promote high levels of student achievement and engagement
- Collaborate with staff to improve instruction and student outcomes
- Monitor and assess student progress using formal and informal methods
- Create inclusive learning environments for all students
- Support student development, decision-making, and self-awareness
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving
- Foster teamwork and positive peer relationships
- Evaluate student performance and prepare progress reports
- Administer state and district testing following required protocols
- Identify potential learning disabilities and assist in evaluation processes
