Ammonia Technician – 1st shift

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Ammonia Technician to join our team in Van Wert.

$$ 1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $250 at thirty days, $250 at sixty days and $500 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination).

SHIFT HOURS:  Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $26.75-$30.00 with a potential increase after 90 days.

PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided.  Job functions include:

• Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration and freezer equipment, including pumps, condensers, compressors, evaporators, valves and purgers.
• Monitor system performance and record data on meter performance.
• Manage and track work orders, documenting repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the refrigeration systems.
• Be aware of and follow policies required by OSHA and EPA.
