POSITION OVERVIEW: Perform panel build, field wiring, and debug related to building special machinery for the food, commercial, industrial, and automation industries.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Do work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operations of electrical equipment. Starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
- Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings supplied by electrical engineers
- Implement electrical panel build and machine wiring per supplied engineering drawings
- Implement custom machine start-up, troubleshooting, and debugging related to the build process
- Service existing equipment and/or perform warranty work related to electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices
- Determine the need for, analyzes, and makes necessary running adjustments, repairs, or modifications to engineering drawing to satisfy the requirements of custom machinery build
- Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action taken
- Pneumatic panel build per supplied engineering drawings
- Pneumatic plumbing of valves and cylinders per supplied engineering drawings
