Crestview Local Schools, Van Wert County, Ohio is seeking a professional educator certified to
teach children with learning disabilities. This elementary position is effective for the 2026-2027
school year. Salary and benefits are per negotiated bargaining agreement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
hold a proper certification and/or licensure for state of Ohio as follows:
Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate Resource Room (196140)
embrace collaborative work with administration and in teacher-based teams;
have knowledge and experience with standards-based instructional practices, formative
assessment methods and educational technology;
have knowledge in identification and service of students with special education needs;
ability to write effective IEP’s and monitor students’ progress toward goals;
embrace opportunities to work with parents in supporting student learning with a
strong desire to see all students succeed.
