Van Wert City Schools is seeking a full-time bus driver to begin immediately / as soon as qualified.
Training – all new bus drivers are trained in the classroom and by our qualified on-board instructor to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and related endorsements. Drug & alcohol testing is required. The district pays upfront for the classroom training, on-board training, and drug & alcohol testing. Drivers pay upfront for their permit, CDL packet, license, and FBI & BCI background checks. Upon successful completion of 10 hours of driving for the district, these costs will be reimbursed to the driver.
Full-time bus drivers are eligible for a benefits package. Salary is competitive, based on a salary schedule and commensurate with experience.
