High School Paraprofessional (1:1 Support Position)

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable paraprofessional to provide one-on-one support for a high school student. This role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and successful navigation of the school environment.

The student requires significant support and benefits from structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. The paraprofessional will assist with daily self-help skills, support communication, and encourage positive engagement throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support across school settings
• Assist with daily living and self-help skills
• Support communication and social interaction
• Help the student navigate the school environment safely and positively
• Collaborate with staff to implement student supports and goals

Qualifications:

• Patient, dependable, and positive
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Willingness to learn and implement support strategies
• Experience with diverse learners preferred
