The LPN provides to individuals and groups nursing care requiring the application of basic knowledge of the biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences at the direction of a registered nurse or any of the following who is authorized to practice in the state: a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. Functions include but are not limited to, clerical responsibilities, patient care functions, PI data collection, STAT registration, and restocking.
