Driver would typically return to the Van Wert terminal every day. Due to the nature of the industry, this could be altered and there is a possibility that the employee may have to stay the night in the truck from time to time. The schedule is 5 pm – 5 am, Monday – Friday and one weekend per month and/if needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Hauling all freight assigned by dispatch Maintaining proper electronic logs Abiding by all FMCSA and DOT regulations
Physical Requirements:
Lift, push and pull up to 75lbs Stand/walk on surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal, and sometimes on slippery and wet surfaces Ability to shift a manual transmission and operate foot pedals Occasionally reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level for maneuvering to operate the truck Climb up trailer ladder to vent dome Ability to enter and exit the vehicles cab eight to ten times per day Ability to hook/unhook commercial vehicle to tanker, manually lower and raise landing gear, operate the fifth wheel, release lever, lock and pintle-hooks, climb in and out of the vehicle, fuel vehicles and check engine oil and coolant levels, hook and unhook hoses to tanker and climb ladder to open dome lid Load and unload at customers

Education and Experience:
Two (2) years previous professional driving experience
Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License CDL A (Required)Tanker Endorsement (Required)
Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles
Must be able to comply with all FMCSA regulations
Flexible schedule
Good driving record according to industry standards

Salary: $1,500.00 – $1,550.00 per week
The pay is based per load and the current average wage is $1,530 per week. The pay does fluctuate lower or higher based on customer demand.
