Job summary: The recruiter will execute a wide spectrum of recruiting services and manage administrative tasks, overseeing the organization’s operations from the interview phase through orientation and onboarding, all aimed at ensuring seamless and efficient processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified Class A CDL drivers and onsite personnel.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, and industry-specific networks, to source potential candidates for both driver and onsite positions.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and supervisors to understand their specific requirements and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Coordinate pre-employment procedures, such as background checks, drug testing, and reference verifications.
- Effectively coordinate travel arrangements, encompassing tasks such as arranging rental cars and securing hotel accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system using DriverReach and other applicable software systems.
- Communicate company benefits and opportunities to potential hires.
- Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and changes in regulations affecting driver recruitment and onsite personnel hiring.
- Ability to cross-train into HR and assist the HR department as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
