Delphos Sanitation Worker  

Position Summary

This position is at the Delphos, OH Bunge North America soybean processing plant. The Sanitation position is primarily responsible for performing utility cleanup and plant sanitation. The position also assists the plant in preparation for and during the fall harvest and fills future full-time vacancies throughout the plant.  This is a full-time, permanent benefited position.  The normal schedule is a 12-hour shift 5 pm-5 am on a 2-2-3 rotation.  Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.  Join a team that puts safety first every day.

Core Functions:

• Process paperwork per department procedures
• Perform cleaning within the department as directed including but not limited to dust and bean clean up, shoveling snow. Use hoses to wash down areas.
• Trash and sanitation duties including but not limited to bathroom and breakroom areas.
• Assist with supplies and inventory.
• Assist with fire extinguisher checks as assigned.
• Cut and remove bean samples. Work safely and assist coworkers as needed.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment including but not limited to bobcat, tractor, forklift, unloading deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
