As the Terminal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading, managing, and holding accountable a team of key personnel, including the Shop Manager, Tank Wash Manager, Facility Manager, and Bellevue Terminal Manager. You will be responsible for implementing process improvements, driving operational efficiency, and utilizing data-driven insights to achieve greater profitability and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and vision for the terminal’s operations in Van Wert and Bellevue Ohio.
- Build + empower a high-performing team through effective communication, coaching, and delegation.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the terminal’s operations, including the Shop, Tank Wash, Depot, Facility departments.
- Develop and implement operational plans to optimize efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Manage costs and ensure adherence to financial goals.
- Accountability:
- Hold dire reports accountable for achieving individual and team performance goals.
- Implement systems to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the terminal
- Technology:
- Embrace and leverage technology to improve communication, data collection, and overall business performance.
- Partner with IT to implement and utilize new technologies effectively.
