
Site Superintendent I is an experienced field leader responsible for managing the performance, safety, and execution of multiple construction projects simultaneously. This role ensures high-quality results by coordinating with internal teams, install partners, and general contractors, while also contributing to broader operational efforts such as subcontractor vetting and customer onboarding. The Site Superintendent II has demonstrated mastery of the responsibilities outlined for Site Superintendent I and plays a key role in mentoring others and driving project success at scale.
Responsibilities
· Manage multiple projects to ensure timely and on-budget completion.
· Communicate and document issues like missing or damaged materials.
· Maintain proactive communication with project teams, subcontractors, and contractors.
· Use Fieldwire to track progress, update statuses, and generate reports.
· Keep project schedules aligned with milestones and ensure safe material storage on-site.
· Attend regular project and safety meetings.
· Assist in subcontractor vetting with Procurement/Operations.
· Support customer onboarding with site-specific coordination.
· Act as liaison between field operations and other business units for project alignment.
· Complete required safety training (OSHA 30, CPR, Silica Awareness, etc.).
· Ensure installation partners complete site-specific safety training.
· Conduct safety tool inspections and enforce safety policies consistently.
· Oversee subcontractor compliance with safety standards and project documentation.
· Provide mentorship to Site Superintendent I personnel or other junior field staff.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Minimum of 2 years of industry experience required.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
· Mastery of Site Superintendent I responsibilities.
· Experience working cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders.
· Experience with Fieldwire or similar project management software highly desirable.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to interpret safety rules, technical documents, and procedural instructions.
· Basic math proficiency, including percentages and ratios.
· Ability to apply logical reasoning to solve routine and complex problems.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Must hold or obtain the following certifications: OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid/AED, and any other applicable safety-related credentials.
· Physical ability to navigate construction sites, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear PPE for extended periods.
· Must be willing to travel to job sites and work occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs.
· Comfortable working in varied environmental conditions including weather exposure, noise, and physical site hazards.
Pay: $55,000.00 – $96,000.00 per year
