Job Summary: Works closely with the Executive Director of the Crisis Care Agency to provide emergency intervention and assistance to victims of violence and their children
Core Responsibilities
Victims of Domestic Violence, Family Violence, Dating Violence, Stalking, Sexual Assault, and/or Human TraffickingÂ
Provide emergency crisis intervention Educate victims in understanding and accessing available community resources Help victims at the shelter adjust to communal living. Transport victims as needed. Answer and respond to Crisis Calls
The Shelter
Oversee the residents and shelter operations with the Executive Director Create and maintain a safe, caring, and respectful environment for shelter residents
Administration
Attend Staff meetings, trainings, and professional activities Perform other duties as assigned and needed

Maintain a positive and non-discriminatory attitude toward the responsibilities of the job Able to remain calm during a crisis situation and multitask and prioritize efficiently Protect client Confidentiality Dedicated to the Crisis Care Mission
Required Qualifications
HS Diploma/GED (Preferred degree in social work, or related field) 1 – 2 years experience Ability to pass a BCI/FBI Background Check Ability to operate a motor vehicle (Driver’s License needed & Insurance Coverage)

Flexible, patient and able to adapt to change Self-starting, able to work independently, and detail-oriented Computer-skills (Microsoft) and comfortable utilizing technology Basic Office Skills Strong written and oral communication skills with children and adults Able to deal with conflict and confident to navigate it Ability to go up and down stairs, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, bend, push and pull

Schedule: Full Time & Part Time opportunities, days, evenings, and/or weekends. Flexible Scheduling
Pay Range:$14 – $18
