The Tri County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board must, in effect, create and maintain the system that provides for alcohol, drug addiction and mental health services at the local level. This means determining what’s needed, planning for and contracting for the services and/or facilities needed and serve as the purchasing agent for federal, state and local funds. The Board does not actually deliver services, but rather contracts with alcohol, drug addiction and mental health agencies to deliver services to Mercer, Van Wert and Paulding county residents.
