YWCA of Van Wert County provides a wide variety of social services & programs to the community:
Youth Enrichment Department: Summer food, Latchkey & Literacy Programming.
Advocacy Department: at the forefront of pressing social issues impacting all marginalized communities, addressing power imbalances in society by giving a voice to those who may not have the means to do so for themselves.
Empowerment Department: Mindfulness 1:1 & group sessions, Yoga, Life-Skills, Confidence building & Growth Mindset workshops.
Victim Service Department: Long-term transitional housing, 24/7 hotline, Victim Advocates, and emergency shelter for Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault & Human Trafficking Victims, Community Outreach to increase public knowledge about Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault & Human Trafficking.
