ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Accurately maintain complex records
Type general office forms and indexes
Enter and scan data into computer
Convey information objectively
Administer Oaths
File, retrieve and track files by name and number accurately
Receive and record money transaction
Demonstrate initiative in assistance in all areas of the office when needed, after assigned tasks are complete
Work with speed and accuracy
Understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions
Communicate effectively and convey information objectively with the general public, attorneys, court and government officials
Know general office procedures and have a working knowledge of computer applications
Work without constant supervision
Work successfully in an environment with frequent interruptions
Willing to work every day, and be ready to open for business by the appropriate time
Interacts and communicates in writing, by telephone and in person with auto dealers, financial institutions and the general public regarding Certificate of Title matters and information
Must be customer friendly oriented
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The Deputy Clerk may need to perform the following physical activities: Climbing,
Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, and listening.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions:
High school diploma or equivalent with on to two years of related work experience/computer experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
Requires the physical ability to operate a variety of automated office machines including a computer, calculator, adding machine, printer, copier, scanner, telephone, fax machine and credit card machine.
Pay $15.00 an hour depending on experience
