As a memeber of the treatment team, the therapist provides mental health and substance abuse counseling on an individual basis and in group settings. The therapist also provides assessment and treatment planning. The therapist is responsible for documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Counseling, Master’s Degree preferred.
Two (2) years of individual, group, or family counseling in the mental health/substance abuse field preferred
Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interveriewing preferred
Minimun of Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Ohio required
