Delphos M&R Industrial Mechanic

Position Summary:

This position is located at the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Delphos, OH.  Must be safety conscious and willing to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.  Starting pay is $27.39 per hour, full pay rate after meeting skill qualifications and education requirements is $31.39 per hour.  Qualified applicant must be able to work independently following a 90-day probationary period.

Core Functions:

  • Repair gearboxes, drive couplings, chain drives, and belt drives.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, centrifugal, piston, rotary and other positive displacement pumps.
  • Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective actions.
  • Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
  • Create and work in a safe environment.
  • Timely completion of tasks and work orders with appropriate documentation according to standard operating procedures, applicable standards, guidelines and policies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery.
  • Perform preventative predictive maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years industrial mechanical experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Good attendance
