Summary of Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Technician at Braun Ambulances in Van Wert, OH. The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance duties including hand tool repair and preventative maintenance, facility maintenance support, equipment and machinery repair. Perform PM’s daily and manage PM order system.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance requirements including repair of air/hand tools and secondary equipment.
- Completes scheduled equipment preventative maintenance.
- Completes facility maintenance and support including air and water line plumbing, lighting and electrical wiring.
- Completes electrical work to add/install circuits, and repair/replace electrical motors and equipment or controls up to 480 V/3-phase.
- Analyzes mechanical/operational problems on assigned equipment and takes appropriate corrective action.
- Monitors, maintains and performs standard repairs to building electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling systems.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure safe and reliable condition.
- Works with equipment vendors to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment.
- Must be available to work non-standard hours including Saturdays to access equipment with minimal adverse impact on production schedules.
- Perform safety and security audits making appropriate corrections including fire extinguishers, exit and emergency lighting.
- Keep assigned work areas clean and orderly.
- Operates fork truck for moving various materials including hazardous waste.
